Primary Roles
- Respiratory Therapists
Peak Sleep respiratory therapists (RTs) are trained and licensed. At Peak Sleep, the RTs specialize in sleep therapy, which means they are uniquely qualified to educate and advise patients about their sleep therapy and sleep therapy equipment. The RTs are also responsible for helping our patients successfully adhere to their therapy. They actively follow up with the patients to solve problems and encourage the patients to use the equipment the way their physician prescribed, so they get the sleep they need. - New Start Specialists
Peak Sleep new start specialists are responsible for receiving, qualifying, and processing sleep therapy orders from physicians. The new start group works closely with the RTs and centers to ensure that the needs of patients and physicians are taken care of as quickly and professionally as possible. They also ensure that the billing paperwork for each sleep therapy patient is processed efficiently and effectively. - Compliance Representatives (Inside Sales)
Peak Sleep compliance representatives are responsible for calling all Peak Sleep patients each month to provide education and to make sure that they have the supplies that they need. The compliance representatives also help identify any questions or problems that patients are having with their equipment and direct them to resources that can help. - Shipping / Warehouse
The Peak Sleep warehouse is busy. More than 1000 packages are shipped out each day. The shipping/warehouse staff is responsible for receiving and managing inventory, and packaging and shipping equipment and supplies.
A Day in the life of a new start specialist
Dianna Morphis, Customer Care Representative
"I work in the new starts department here at Peak Sleep. I'm responsible for qualifying CPAP and BiPAP orders, making sure all qualifying documents are in the patient's file before orders are confirmed and shipped.
"We do confirmations with our patients, making sure they understand their insurance policy before orders are shipped. We explain what the process will be when the order leaves Peak Sleep.
"I work with a great team of coworkers here at Peak Sleep and PPS. I work with some great centers, which obtain the documents that are required to qualify our patients. I also work with a group of coworkers, managers, supervisors, and centers OMs and DMs. At the end of the day, I know we've accomplished our jobs by pulling together as a team. It's not about me or you here at Peaks Sleep, it's about our patients' care."

"
I originally started my career with PPS in the Acquisitions Department, later transitioning to Peak Sleep because I knew I would have the opportunity to work with patients via phone. I find it very rewarding to be able to help our customers with their respiratory needs."
Diana Morphis, Customer Care Rep 2, New Starts
"
Not coming from a medical background, I had no idea how rewarding it would be to spend time assisting patients. I also enjoy when they call us to share that this equipment and our efforts have changed their lives."
Gabriela Olivas, Inside Sales Representative, CPAP Compliance
"
Working in a leadership role at Peak Sleep has provided the opportunity to expand my knowledge and interpersonal skills and enabled me to work closely with my staff and our internal customers.
